Every self-proclaimed aficionado has the ‘been there, done that’ air (or smoke) about them, but every so often, you come across a rarity. Acapulco Gold is a strain legendary for its golden tinge. Its distinctive greenish-brown buds with a light yellowish hue make this strain unmistakeable – and well-known, for a good reason.

Trainwreck

Sour Tangie

Sour Tangie is a Sativa-dominant cross between East Coast Sour Diesel and Tangie. With strong acidic flavours and citrus overtones, Sour Tangie is a very popular strain among both medical and recreational users. As the name implies, Sour Tangie is both sour and tangy, which helps enhance the experience.

Nothing is better than having a fruity flavour as you take your cherished puffs of marijuana. The Strawberry Cough is a marijuana strain that gives you just that. This Sativa-dominant marijuana strain is famous for its smell of fresh strawberries.

Super Sliver Haze

Pink Kush

Pink Kush may not be as well-known as other Kush variations, like OG Kush or Master Kush, but it is still a very popular Indica-dominant hybrid. Unlike some other Kush strains, Pink Kush has strong sedative properties and a slow, calm body high. This makes it an ideal choice for medical and recreational users alike.

Lemon Haze

If you’ve sampled cannabis strains anywhere in the West Coast, you’ve likely come across a version of Lemon Haze. This extremely popular strain is perfectly summarized by its name; Lemon Haze has a strong aroma of citrus, like the smell of a lemon peel. After consumption, users often feel a slow, relaxing dream-like “haze.”

Red Congolese

There are some disputes over the exact nature of the Red Congolese cannabis strain. Some argue that it is a pure Africa Sativa landrace, while others believe that the Red Congolese found throughout North America is a Sativa-Dominant hybrid. In all likelihood, Red Congolese is a cross between Mexican and Afghani strains. However, its genetics are not entirely clear.

Green Crack

The Green Crack strain is a uniquely named breed of cannabis created in Athens, Georgia sometime in the 1970s. It is a Sativa/Indica hybrid strain of cannabis. Despite the stylistic name, Green Crack has no association with any kind of illegal narcotic whatsoever and is just a strain of marijuana.

Ghost Train

Bred by Kyle Kushman of Rare Dankness out of the West Coast, the strain is a combination of two other strains, Nevil’s Wreck and Ghost OG. The strain is developed using a specialized technique of his entitled “Vegamatrix” which allows for some of the best cannabis flowers out there.

Bruce Banner

This hybrid strain is named after the main character in The Incredible Hulk comic books, and for good reason. The Bruce Banner strain is known for being extremely powerful as a result of its high THC content. Bruce Banner is a sativa-dominant hybrid and its effects have been seen to have a quick onset time, making it popular among both recreational and medical users.

Jack Herer

Jack Herer combines features from numerous strains, including Haze, Northern Lights #5, and Shiva Skunk. The relatively young strain is now widely available throughout the United States and is well-known for its delicious flavor and enjoyable effects.

Blue Dream

Blue Dream (sometimes referred to as "Azure Haze") is one of the most-consumed strains of cannabis in all of California. Even though dozens of strains compete in the West Coast, Blue Dream frequently comes out on top. Created in California, Blue Dream is a high-THC hybrid between the Blueberry and Haze strains.

Black Diamond

Black Diamond is a hybrid strain that has been bred using Indica-dominant genetics. It is a blend of the flavourful Blackberry and Diamond OG strains. Blackberry is the child of Black Domina and Raspberry Cough, while Diamond OG is a hybrid derived from the legendary and popular parent cultivar, OG Kush. One of the highlights of Black Diamond is the sedative and robust high with full mental lucidity that is reported by some users as great for conversations or concentration.

Amnesia Haze

Amnesia Haze is a marijuana strain that is quite remarkable. This strain traces its genetic pool back to the Jamaican landrace and South Asian strains.

Rockstar

The Rockstar strain is an award-winning cannabis strain. It clinched the second place in the 2012 High Times Cannabis Cup.
