Summary

Do you dream in hashtags? Are you on social media 24/7? Supreme Cannabis is looking for a creative, innovative and ambitious Digital and Social Media Coordinator to grow and evolve our social media programs, with a focus on digital innovation and social video.


You will have the unique role of supporting corporate communication and investor relations on the corporate side, and the regulated marketing activities of Supreme Cannabis’ 7ACRES brand.


The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling skills, video editing and strategy experience, and the ability to see how a story can be told across any and all platforms. They will be an excellent communicator with strong, succinct writing skills, able to easily and authentically adopt our voice.


The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a corporate and financial setting, as well as, consumer brand environment – requiring related, but distinct approaches and strategies.


They will be expected to work independently, proactively, and support multiple projects at once.

Key Areas of Responsibility: 

  • Own all Supreme Cannabis and 7ACRES social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and other emerging channels
  • Conceptualize, plan and execute all social media content on all active channels, including a well-articulated approach for growing followers, engagement, revenue, traffic, and investor / customer acquisition
  • Ensure all content adheres to the company’s voice and brand guideline
  • Create and manage the social media calendar based on the company’s investor relations schedule, marketing priorities, campaigns and other corporate initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and externally to create, support, and execute content, campaigns and initiatives across key channels
  • Design and execute weekly social media reporting on key metrics, including growth in fans/followers, engagement, traffic; share learnings and continuously optimize
  • Serve as the social media expert within the company, maintaining a cutting-edge understanding of best practices, features, strategies, and tactics
  • Work closely with company leaders to help develop their social media presence, both visually and verbally
  • Develop and help create social media content with bloggers and influencers that are aligned with the brand and business goals
Profile & Core Competencies: 
  • 3+ years working directly on social media and digital strategy
  • Strategic and analytical, comfortable using data to inform decisions but also highly creative and resourceful
  • Extensive experience building audiences and acquiring new customers in all social channels
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects, prioritize and deliver against changing priorities, multiple stakeholders, and aggressive deadlines
  • Existing Influencer relations and experience
  • Strong initiative to drive results, solve problems and consistently follow through
  • Well-versed in social media and digital technologies, constantly informed on industry developments, including consumer trends and new technologies
  • Experience as a blogger, vlogger or other social influencer a huge plus
  • Photography and videography skills a plus
