About This Position

Summary

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for the development and implementation of our marketing strategy across multiple platforms. In this leadership role you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results on both the business and in coaching the marketing team. Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Regulatory Affairs, this role includes responsibility for all strategic and executional leadership of Supreme’s marketing channels - brand building, trade marketing, consumer channels, consumer insights, and the coaching and development of our marketing team.

In this challenging and impactful role, you will partner across the organization with product development, creative content & strategy, legal, and the sales team to ensure we build trial, awareness, and loyalty among consumers.


Responsibilities:

  • Understanding our vision, company strategies, and values, you will develop a cross platform marketing strategy and plan that meets our aggressive targets for growth
  • Lead a team of marketing managers and specialists, as well as external agencies where appropriate to generate awareness and trial of Supreme’s portfolio of products
  • Partner with sales/platform team to ensure we effectively leverage advertising, merchandising, and promotion opportunities across sales channels for profitable growth
  • Lead optimization and continued development of Supreme’s websites and microsites to increase traffic and conversion
  • Identify opportunities through exceptional understanding of our industry and of our consumers in order to develop new marketing programs and optimize existing program to drive revenue growth and website conversion
  • Leverage the creative team (creative director, writers, renderers) and other marketing experts to produce outstanding content and marketing materials for use on: Supreme Web sites (content including videos, product and general information, blog, white papers, etc.); Various sales platforms; Events
  • Work with Brand, Trade and Consumer Managers and creative team to build the Supreme & 7ACRES brand globally and track and measure brand image and consumer satisfaction over time; work with external agencies as required to ensure relevant and compliant brand identity
  • Working with the commercial business analyst, partner with finance and sales to analyze and report on marketing program performance and other key metrics; course correct and recommend improvements and changes as data supports
  • Forecasting - work in partnership with your team and counterparts in finance, and sales to contribute to an effective forecasting process
  • Build organizational strength and nurture a high-performance team environment with focus on achieving results, sense of urgency, and accountability, through multi-functional collaboration

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience across digital and channel marketing, CPG brand management or agency, with a focus on acquisition, conversion and brand building in a high growth environment
  • Proven track record of launching brands and products, scaling a marketing organization and delivering exponential growth with a proven record of delivering concrete results through others
  • Solid experience in CPG, and/or regulated marketing industries
  • Advanced knowledge and exceptional skills in acquisition and conversion marketing, including SEO, PPC/SEM, display advertising & affiliates, social advertising, influencer marketing, conversion tracking and optimization, and trade marketing
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation and familiarity with email marketing best practices, conception, design, development, deployment and optimization
  • Strong understanding of web, mobile marketing and web/mobile usability best practices
  • Strong understanding of social and influencer marketing and experience developing programs to drive growth
  • History of effective use of various direct marketing and digital channels to build awareness and advocacy for the brand
  • Highly accountable to results and key performance indicators - Analytically inclined and data oriented - ability to analyze and present clear, concise conclusions from complex data, and translate into effective programs and operating solutions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across the organization bringing a partnership mindset and high degree of credibility
  • Proficient financial skills and knowledge, including optimizing resources to increase profitability
  • Superior leadership skills allow you to motivate, grow and align your team to goals, ensuring a high level of accountability
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, and MBA is preferred
