About This Position


The Manager, Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the development, and management of all Supply Chain Operations for The Supreme Cannabis Company and it’s subsidiaries. These duties include, but are not limited to; Transportation, SKU Optimization, Warehousing, Demand and Supply Planning, and Customer Supply Chain. The role encompasses the elements of strategic planning including goal setting and budget determination. This role is responsible for building strong working partnerships with manufacturing, production, sales & marketing and the senior leadership team.


  • Manage the end-to-end process in the planning of supply chain as well as procurement activities, ensuring effective-functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities.
  • Lead the identification and implementation of cost reduction initiatives and programs to drive out supply chain costs and optimize business performance.
  • Introduce process improvements in the supply chain and identify new vendors/suppliers without jeopardizing quality and service delivery.
  • Responsible for effective S&OP management, ensure effective control of workflows, continuous business processes monitoring and elaboration of improvements in processes and systems.
  • Manage and monitor all transactional procurement including tendering processes, evaluation, contracting, contract management, legal considerations and payment conditions, contractors, performance evaluation and risk assessment.
  • Implement strategic procurement including sourcing strategy, supplier selection and evaluation, quality management, customer relationship management and performance measurement.
  • Develop and manage the rosters of suppliers, elaborate supplier selection and evaluation, quality and performance measurement mechanisms
  • Manage the contract including monitoring and analysing the performance against agreed benchmarks, negotiating the term and conditions.
  • Organize and deliver trainings on supply chain, procurement, logistics and synthesize lessons learned and best practices.
  • Drive collaboration with Sales and Marketing to ensure accurate sales forecasts.
  • Works closely with commercial business teams to commercialize new products.


  • University Degree (or equivalent work experience) in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in the delivery and management of procurement and complex supply chain services, logistics and assets management.
  • CIPS certification highly desirable.
  • Change agent creator ability to set short and long-term supply chain strategy.
  • Project management, process improvement and business process re-engineering skills is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at all levels across the organization.
  • Possesses a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners, team members, and vendors to influence buy-in for implementation of process and standards.
  • Ability to work with all levels of Management within a matrix organization in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work with little supervision.
  • Analytical and business problem solving skills.
  • Ability to facilitate and manage change.
